Cheetah’s back!


The cheetah is speeding back to India for the first time in 100 years since they were wiped out by hunting. Three sanctuaries have been selected to house them. I always assumed cheetahs only lived in Africa but they’re also found in Iran and the Middle East, and when they move to India it will become the only country to have six of the world’s eight big cats.

Mini Dumbo


Chester Zoo are celebrating their new addition, a beautiful little elephant calf called Nayan which means ‘eye’ in Hindi. He has a lot of growing to do as Indian elephants can grow up to 11.5 ft and 4.5 tonnes!
